The 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering（ICAICE 2021）

The 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computing Engineering (ICAICE 2021) was successfully held on November 6, 2021, at China Jiliang University. The conference was organized by China Jiliang University, hosted by the School of Information Engineering, and co-hosted by the AEIC Academic Exchange Center and the Guangzhou Computer Society. Due to pandemic prevention and control requirements, the conference adopted a hybrid format, allowing both online and offline participation. Over 60 experts and scholars attended the conference in person, mainly from universities and enterprises in Zhejiang Province, such as China Jiliang University, Ningbo University of Technology, and Taizhou University. Additionally, more than 100 experts and scholars participated online, representing various countries and regions, including China, the United States, Australia, Greece, and the United Kingdom.
Chen Jianguo, Vice Dean of the School of Information Engineering at China Jiliang University delivered a welcome speech during the opening ceremony. Zheng Weimin, the Chairman of the conference, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor at Tsinghua University, addressed the attendees online, congratulating the successful convening of the conference. After the opening ceremony, online keynote speeches were given by Professor Jie Wu from Temple University in the United States, Professor Ming Li from Nanjing University, Professor Xin Geng from Southeast University, Associate Professor Zhanli Liu from Tsinghua University, and Professor Nicholas Freris from the Advanced Technology Research Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China. Offline keynote speeches were delivered by Professor Huajun Chen from Zhejiang University, Associate Professor Yi Gao, and Associate Professor Ke Yan from China Jiliang University.
The conference focused on the latest research areas in "Artificial Intelligence and Computing Engineering," providing an international platform for experts, professors, scholars, engineers, and professionals from domestic and international universities, research institutes, and enterprises to share professional experiences, expand professional networks, exchange new ideas, and showcase research results. The discussions revolved around the critical challenges and research directions in the field, aiming to promote the development and application of theories and technologies in academia and industry. The conference also facilitated the establishment of professional connections among participants and the exploration of global partnerships for future career endeavors.
The conference was divided into two parallel sessions for the oral presentation of academic papers, with a total of 22 oral presentations, and a poster session featuring 22 paper presentations. The accepted papers has been published by IEEE CS CPS, and after publication, they will be submitted for inclusion and indexing in databases such as EI Compendex, Scopus, and Inspec.
