Speech Title: Transfer Learning in Chemical Sensing System for Olfactory Perception

Abstract

Vision-language has been widely studied in AI community. However, machine olfaction is relatively paid less attention. In this talk, I will present our research progress toward olfactory intelligence. First, I will introduce the background, preliminary and challenges of machine olfaction techniques, then the problems of chemical sensors that hinders olfaction development in perception are formally proposed. After that, transfer learning will be comprehensively introduced from the concept, theory and algorithms. Finally, I will present how to solve the olfactory pattern analysis using transfer learning algorithms.
