From November 8 to 10, the "5th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering (ICAICE 2024)" was successfully held at Anhui University of Technology, hosted by the university itself. The event was organized by the College of Artificial Intelligence and the Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Equipment Quality and Reliability of Anhui Province, with assistance from the College of Modern Robotics Industry at Anhui University of Technology and the AEIC Academic Exchange Center. The conference focused on themes such as "Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, and Applications," facilitating academic exchanges on these topics.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Xu Dezhang, Dean of the College of Modern Robotics Industry at Anhui University of Technology, and Professor Wang Chengjun, Vice President of Anhui University of Technology, was invited to deliver the opening speech.
The conference was honored to invite several expert scholars in the field to deliver keynote presentations. Among them were Professor Zhang Lei from Chongqing University, Professor Feng Gang from City University of Hong Kong, Professor Sun Ning from Nankai University and Nankai University Shenzhen Research Institute, Professor Li Xiuxian from Tongji University, and Professor Zhao Zhuanzhe from Anhui University of Technology, each sharing their cutting-edge research findings in the areas of artificial intelligence and computer engineering. The event attracted over 300 participants, including students and faculty from domestic and international universities, as well as local experts, both online and offline.
During the conference, young scholars from Central China Normal University, Jilin University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Bohai University, Xi'an University of Technology, and Beijing Jiaotong University delivered excellent oral presentations and poster displays.
The attending experts and scholars engaged in enthusiastic discussions about current research hotspots and technological development trends, fostering a positive academic atmosphere centered around the theme of "open communication and shared achievements." Through this conference, participants not only shared valuable research experiences but also established broader collaborative relationships, laying a solid foundation for future interdisciplinary exchanges and collaborative innovations within our college.
